This landscape was taken in a place I used to and still go to very often with my Dad. When we arrived the rive was still frozen over and we were able to capture a fallen tree atop the ice. There used to be a rope swing here and we would usually go in the summer so it was interesting photograph how pretty it is even in the grey, melting part of winter.
This tree is the only pine tree I was able to find in the entire small forest I visited. I go to this small nature walk often as it's very close to my house and it was interesting how this is the only pine tree I was ale to find. The woods looked very bare with no laves so I was super happy when finding this interestingly shaped pine tree. The two picture were taken on opposite sides of the same bent tree.
I was driving by the river looking for good photographing location when I found this tree alone on this hill. I had no other trees around it and the branches looked really interesting with no leaves so I decided to stop and take the photos you see above.
When I was walking through the woods looking for interesting photo opportunities I came across these cute little specs of green and decided it would be a perfect subject to do a landscape on. I tried to make the sprouts seem larger to really emphasize plants. I saw quite a lot but finally settled on the one you see about because of how bright it was and how perfect the newly grown leaves looked.
When walking through a different woods I saw this really interesting growth on a tree's roots. I walk in this woods a lot and had never noticed this cool growth. I bent down and took some picture to emphasizes the orange on the edges of the growths compared the the dark green and browns on the rest of the tree.
